In situ visit of Minister of Culture & Sports at Athens Conservatoire

In early April, the Μinister of Culture and Sports, Mrs Lina Mendoni, visited the Athens Conservatoire where the House of Classical Greek Ideas will soon be housed. The Minister was informed on the progress of the building works and also mentioned the implementation of the House of Classical Greek Ideas project which is implemented by the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, NCSR Demokritos in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports. As she mentioned, the project is part of the program “Competitiveness Entrepreneurship and Innovation” in the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF-ESPA) and started its implementation activities at the end of 2019. Invitation to an open Public Consultation

The NSRF Unit of the Ministry of Culture and Sports invites the interested economic entities to an open Public Consultation of non-binding participation (21DIAB000015536), in order to collect constructive observations and comments on the draft Declaration and its affiliates concerning the SUPPLY OF MATERIAL-TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND SOFTWARE of the act: “DESIGN, ORGANISATION AND OPERATION OF THE HOUSE OF CLASSICAL GREEK IDEAS” with OPS code 5033016, which has been included in the Operational Program “Competitiveness Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020” and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and from national resources through the Public Investment Program (ΠΔΕ). The House of Classical Greek Ideas project kicks off

In September 2019, the Ministry of Culture and Sports and NCSR Demokritos started an innovative collaboration for the creation of the House of Classical Greek Ideas which is to be completed and officially opened to the public in 2022.

This one of a kind project aims to create a novel prototype exhibition space of ancient Greek ideas and ancient Greek philosophy using state-of-the-art technology and Artificial Intelligence.
